Via Tor.com I have learned that the Folio Society will release a new printing of Dune, Frank Herbert's 1965 science fiction epic. The book will be slipcased, and provided with eleven color illustrations by Sam Weber. At $125 USD a copy, it isn't cheap; I can't see myself picking this one up. Still, the illustrations are great and the presentation lavish; it seems the sort of thing about which my fellow TMPers would like to know. foliosociety.com/book/DUP Ron |

It's on my wish list. I've found myself liking Dune less and less as the years roll on, but I'd pay $125 USD for the art work, gorgeous stuff. |

What I'd really like to see is the storyboard book for Jodorowsky's Dune released as a graphic novel. Doug |

elsyrsyn, I was just watching a documentary on that this morning. Who wouldn't want to see Dune done with Moebius artwork! |
