When I saw that I couldn't help but think of this character:

Hmm. Now I wonder …

Has anyone ever wargamed on a terrain table made to represent someone's scalp, with forests of giant hairs, fathomless pores and warts as hills/mountains, etc?

And would your combatants be lice vs dust mites? Or would they represent miniaturized humans crossing great distances on human skin on some important mission, while braving all sorts of weird flora, fauna and "terrain" features along the way?

It could be like the movie Incredible Journey, only outside of the body.

Call it Incredible Mission!

This human eyelash mite could be modeled in Sulpey, I think:

BTW, I meant Fantastic Voyage not incredible Journey, which was about runaway pets I believe. Sorry.

The campaign could be won by a hair, or one follicle too far.
Plus whenever I see that Ancient Aliens guy this is what I think of.

You could also use these rampaging amogst all that follicular goodness. Irregular mini's spice lice.

I can honestly say that is one wargaming period I have never considered.

That would make a GREAT convention game … really weird looking alien forest landscape with buggy monsters, and some intrepid explorers who have to get to the other side … then at the end of the game, reveal that it was a human scalp and mites.
