Our second stretch goal for the AVID Assistant Kickstarter is tracking and shooting multiple bearings. Why? Because when you have several ships on each side, you generally want to find out where all of those ships are relative to those firing arcs. Only being able to see one bearing at a time is inconvenient. This requires re-working some of the user interface from the example video, but isn't a significant coding hurdle (unlike getting coordinates translated for the previous one was). We'll have you tracking up to four bearings at once. This stretch goal is at only $8,000 USD, so it's not that far away. We're also making the web version of the app free as part of this stretch goal (it had been a separate stretch goal). That's because the upcoming stretch goals are so awesome. They turn this into native Android and iOS apps, respectively, so you won't need an Internet connection, and some of the oddities of using a browser-based app in a tablet go away (like different behaviors if you hit the "back" button). |

194 backers, $8,512 USD pledged, and the native Android app is locked in. Thanks to all of our backers! Now it's time for all of the Apple fans to step up to the plate and get the native iOS app funded. You know you want to. You'll be popular. People will like you … link |

LitS, you should definitely back at the $5 USD level. That way, you get access to the web app, which will cost $5 USD anyhow. No need to go big, but every penny is going to count in getting to some of these stretch goals. |
