Thanks I enjoyed that. Your colours are really vibrant considering you went onto a black under-coat, did the chainmail dry-brush act as a sort of highlight to the primer?

It is the washes however that interest me most – did you use them neat?

I used the old GW Foundation paints, which give good coverage over black. The yellow and blue got extra highlights to make them pop a bit more.
Yes I used the (old) GW washes neat.

Nice looking miniatures and a great tutorial. I am considering dipping a toe into this period and am still thinking about mini sizes. Was leaning toward 15mm over 28, but now I may have to consider 10mm.
