Hi all, With the project finished last weekend I thought it might be fun to display the whole division.
General Portago's men formed the linchpin between the two allied armies and became involved in the fighting around the Pajar Vergara redoubt. If you would like to know more then just follow the link to JJ's link Jonathan |

Great looking figures; now how do they perform on the table? Will they make a visit to Legionary this year? |

Looking good. Can I come round your house and play with your toys? They're much better than mine. |

Superb figures. I always appreciate your excellent reports, historical background, clear maps, photos and resource access. Very generous. Many thanks for taking the time to post this. |

Thanks all for the comments, I really do appreciate them. Royal Marine – I was planning to come to Legionary this year but my wife had other ideas, so I will be in Paris when the show is on. The Devon Wargames Group will be there, and with my new 6 x 4 terrain mat coming I will plan to put on a display game next year. Losh – Given the attention the Spanish have had I feel sure that my friends at the DWG will be happy to see if they will stand a charge in column! Lots more to come, Spanish extras and artillery, followed by Polish infantry, Vistula Lancers, Westphalian Chevaux Legere and British Heavy Dragoons, before getting stuck into the French. Also we ran the first play through of the Talavera Night attack scenario last night, that proved very entertaining. AAR to follow Cheers JJ |
