So I started collecting Wizards of the Coast Star Wars miniatures to play games with my son. I kind of adjusted the rules to allow battles as opposed to skirmishes. Darth Vader is a pretty overpowered unit, understandably, so it became clear he needs to be someone who usually arrives based on a random die roll as he is a real game changer. My son seems to think this requires an Imperial Shuttle and that makes sense so I started to look for one… but of course there are few ships in Stat Wars that have not been made into at least 3 versions over the years and the Imperial shuttle is no exception. Now I know the micro fleet and X-Wing models are too small. It would seem the two most likely candidates are the Star Wars action fleet line or some sort of plastic model kit. Does anyone know which one will best match the roughly 25-30mm scale figures sold by Wizards of the Coast? Thank you in advance. |

Even the plastic model kit is too small for that scale, although it may be passable depending on your eye. I don't know of a larger one. If there was an action figure-sized toy it might work (or be too big), but the proportions would most be likely be off. |

the shape isnt that complex, a few cardboard tubes and a cereal box might be all you need. ymmv |

The Action Fleet one is about 12mm scale, so too small, as well. You might be able to use it with 15mm figs, but certainly not 32mm ones (unless as a scenic backdrop, or flying overhead). You really need a large scale model, and I'm not sure anyone does those. |

I used to use some of the older model kits from the 80's and 90's from ERTL I believe… they seem to be a little bigger than the ones you find at the K-Mart toy section today. |

Thank you for the information everyone. Based on the pictures it looks like the snap-tite one works pretty well. Sure it might be down scaled a bit, but I think all the vehicles are scaled down a bit. |
