"Ordering and bad service !!!" Topic

I would like to express my disapointment about "Wargames + Miniatures Game Store" for their online ordering service to Greece . I ordered in July 2014 an amount of items (about 100euro) , paid them via paypal and never received them. I have sent many emails for explanations and received one answer not to worry. They said everything is ok and i will have my order before Christmas,then before February. Nothing has happened until now and they do not respond to my emails anymore! I think my case is lost and hope this will not happen to any other consumer !

Unfortunately I think the limit to Paypal disputes is 6 months so you may be out of luck :(

I believe the limit for Paypal disputes is 45 days from making the payment.

Whilst the Paypal disputes process makes life simple, it's not the be all and end all.

Under EU consumer protection law you have a right for the goods to be re-sent or refunded, if they don't arrive. I wouldn't give up on it – I'd kick up a stink on their facebook page and blog etc until they respond.

It used to be 45 days, and don't quote me on this, but last time I checked into it, at least here in the USA, I think it is now beyond that, so you might want to double-check with Paypal.

I did a claim to paypal after three months and they said to me that i am out of date !

Question, why order from a tiny store in way out there UK, rather than some bigger supplier?

A good question ! The reason was "free shipping" and "good discount" on many items ! Anyway a risk, thats true ! A lesson for me, for ordering in the future !

Sounds like a problem to me and has made me more wary as a result. Have you tried phoning them (+44 (0)1389 298118)?

In the meantime, i have ordered from "WARLORD GAMES"."PLASTIC SOLDIER COMPANY" and "PENDRAKEN", and received my orders in 10-12 days ! All that in early February! Excellent service from all of them !!!

Have a look at distance selling regulations for the UK; they are available online. If I recall correctly, they place the onus on the seller to ensure the goods arrive with the buyer.

Do have other customers the same exsperience with this store ???

Having spoken on another thread regarding problems with this one specific order we have posted a third parcel and this time to the address quoted on all the original documents as the customer gave a different address via email, to which two parcels apparently never arrived.

We hope this time, it arrives safely.
Another thread explains an illness etc which slowed up the admin of correspondence. This now all clear and we are running 100%

Hope our customer enjoys his products finally and we can end this rare hiccup.

Despite the delay, i received my order today! Really,i'm very happy about it! The problem was the postcode, told me from the post office! There was a change with the regions, which i did not know ! Thanks anyway, was not your fault!!!
