Lovely stuff -I especially like how boldly, and successfully, you used blacklining! Also like the bases, very nice looking effect! Started to ponder about trousers…
Shouldn't actual trousers be gray? I was under the assumption (probably wrong though!) that breeches/pantaloons that were worn with gaiters were the white legwear. At least I came to that conclusion when I was digging info some ten years ago for my nappy Brits. |

Isn't it odd how few figure sculptors seem to know how you play a fife and always put both hands the same way around. Nice paint job. |

Thanks, guys! @Lonkka, those are peninsular british. Up then, most line regiments still had white trousers. By the time of the battle of Waterloo, pretty much all line were grey trouser already. |
