Lt. Col. Robert Hite died on Sunday at a nursing home in Nashville after a battle with Alzheimer's disease. He was one of three remaining Doolittle Raiders. I saw them at their annual get together at the Air Force Museum about 8-10 years ago. Doolittle's son was there too. It was pretty awesome! |
