I have pulled some Wargames Foundry Romans out of the lead mountain. I need to plus up some cohorts. Are Warlord Games EIRs compatible with Wargames Foundry EIRs? |

There were two sets of Foundry EIR. The ones the Perry sculpted which were, I believe, a more complete range. Then there were the later ones. I forget who did those, probably Steve Saleh. I think the Warlord Games ones do match pretty well with the earlier Perry ones. |

I think they are compatible, but why not get more Foundry EIR? I got a couple hundred painted Foundry Romans. I have some metal Warlord miniatures for greater variety, but I would buy more Foundry for rank-n- file to bulk up my force. Just wondering what your thinking is? |

Otto, just looking for some more variety on the stands. If they match as Pictor says, I think I will order some for variety. |

Possibly his thinking is that for the price of 12 Foundry Romans you can get 30 WG Romans and they come with all the weapons you need as well as shield transfers if you want them. |

The Foundry Perrys can be found relatively inexpensively on eBay, and are lovely sculpts. Lots of poses, too. The Warlords can be a bit variable on size; most are at the small end of 28mm, but some are right at the high end. |

The Steve Saleh sculpts are huge compared to Warlord figures and don't really match with the earlier Foundry EIR.Another range to consider is 1st Corps they fit in with the plastic Legionaries for some more variations. |

Indeed the Foundry Salehs are relatively huge; they are the ones with the cast-on shields. Nice, though, in their way. |
