I looked at Adepticon from 4 perspetives:
-First time attendee who isn't a player of the flagship Adepticon games
-Terrain-building addict
-First time Adepticon game master
-Bargain hunter

I'll have two more Adepticon posts coming soon. AAR's for the Mech Attack game I ran and a giant pirate naval participation game.

This was my first Adepticon as well. I had a lot of fun at the various games, played a few games of Wreck Age and Bolt Action, Hail Caesar and attended a few seminars. I missed you had a game Saturday morning unfortunately or I would have dropped by. I will have to look for your Mech Game next year.

Thanks Folks.
I suspected that I came to the con with perspectives other TMP'ers might share. Adepticon is still a GW/PP heavy event, but I suspect there is more than enough to keep folks like us happy and their seminar and event schedule is extensive I didn't attend any, but it seems like there's numerous opportunities to hone one's hobby skills and learn from the best for reasonable up-charges.

Tom,
Glad you enjoyed it. Wreck-Age Matt is one of our buddies. I'll definitely be running a game next year as long as they let me. It will probably be Mech Attack again. We've recently bought a bunch of tanks so it may have vehicles this time. I think it's likely we'll be in the far room again one wall west of the Saga players.
See you next year!

there was a lot of Saga and Bolt Action there. So much so that my wife who has never gamed wanted to start doing Saga and so I bought her an Irish warband. She loves it and has never painted before but is diving right in! This is a great Con and growing!
