What if you want to game something too controversial or distasteful to put on the tabletop?

Hi guys,

I recently got into 15mm Sci-fi gaming having finally been tempted by seeing one too many of the great miniatures that have been released in the scale. Here are my first painted purchases – basic paintjobs but I'm pleased with how quickly I can get them done!

GZG 15mm UNSC Light Infantry (having narrowly won out over CMG Arc Troopers) – really nice sculpts and the poses look very natural :

Warthog by Antonicitis Workshop – really love this design! I wanted to make it a little more like a sci-fi Humvee so I've added a scratch-built turret :

Nemesis by Clear Horizon Minis – another lovely design although they were a little lazy in using mirror-images on the tyres – the treads run in opposite directions on the left and right side! I went a little too far on the weathering on this one – oops XD :

Blue force so far! :

And for the bad guys there was only one obvious choice – Khurasan's Evil midtech infantry. Note the guy with the minigun is a conversion from a radio operator – he's got a huge ammo-hopper on his back (I don't think that this particular sculpt is officially released yet, but I was lucky enough to get some early casts ^__^) :

I'm not sure what vehicles to go for with these guys – mebbe Khurasan's Heavy Red Faction heavy wheeled APC as I like the clear Soviet link. Something a little more sci-fi would be good though.

Anyway, thanks for looking!

nice looking forces, esp like how the blue and yellow ones turned out

Blue and yellow looks fantastic and very striking. Kudos.

Welcome to 15mm ! You made a nice choice on the blue and yellow paint job. The two vehicles fit well together. All the symmetry and cross manufacturer similar scale choices make for near infinite possibilities…great for your table bad for bank account. Welcome again

Those look great! And yes, we noticed the tire treads too after we got the initial batch, but it's all been corrected now.

There's no such thing as too much weathering on ground vehicles.
