Light Bobs – Battle of Princeton Here are a few pictures of my "Princeton what if" game run at Havoc earlier this month (3.24.2015.) In this scenario Washington sends forward an advance force of 2 x battalions and runs into the British, much as it happened historically however the troops and terrain were fictitious. The British were given 2 x battalions each of 4 companies. One company in each battalion was veteran, the rest were average.
The write up and extra pictures on the home page at dayofbattle.com Thanks for reading Chris Parker |

Thank you I appreciate that. I'm very disappointed that I took such few number of pictures. I thought I had taken a lot more. Oh figure scale is 40mm with a mix of Trident and Sash and Saber |

I like your method of indicating snow [drifts] – w/o making your based figures look out of place on terrain board. |

Light Bobs is a nickname for the British light infantry, first used during the American Wars of Independence, and commonly applied to the Light Division during the Napoleonic wars. |

Looks familiar from Cold Wars. Enjoyable rules, and they give a good move/counter move feel. Nobody is "out of it" in a strict IGOUGO sense. The "defender" always has decisions and counters. I have tons of skirmish based 28mm figures, and have recently had some 40mm forced, I SAY FORCED!!! upon me by certain nefarious individuals, trying to bring me over to the dark side. This game is perfect for 40mm figures, since you are a battalion commander with approximately a 1:5 ratio. Sort of. |

Thanks again John and I appreciate your live post from the game itself. I did adjust the British deployment a bit so they weren't all in column and the table was a little larger. The game went well. I am going to post a new thread here today on the shooting mechanics for people to read (and shred) :) Chris dayofbattlegames.com |

Thank you posting these. Your rules sound very different from what is out there and very exciting. Different level of command how original. And visibly beautiful. |
