So, been wanting to do cold war 70's period for ages, decided to look at the 10mm range, see what you think, me? I'm hooked! These samples are from Minifigs, pictures of Pendraken to follow. Chieftain, T62 and BMP1

Thanks for sharing your close-up pics.

They look great!

I've been working on collecting some 1/144th scale vehicles as well for the Cold War, and need to add some of these to that too.

I wish they produced some of the earlier APCs/IFVs, and tanks e.g. M114, SPz 11-12, SPz 12-3 (HS-30 – several variants), Marder 1, Jagdpanzer Kanone and Rakete, etc.

Pendraken is working on expanding their line, which though slightly smaller, may work okay with the Minifigs range, as long as you don't mix the same vehicles in various units.

Almost forgot, would love to see them produce some early and mid-period BMDs too.

They would be especially useful for the conflicts in Afghanistan, Chechnya (I suspect), as well as for Crimea and Ukraine.

Thank you. I too have been working on 10mm Cold War, specifically late 70s/early 80s Europe. The newest Pendraken vehicles are almost identical in size to the Minifigs. TMP's UshCha has a growing line of 1/144 at the Aotrs Shipyard on Shapeways ( link ) that look great. The Minfigs, Pendraken and Aotrs M113s will all mix in the same unit.

Good to hear.

Thanks for the info, CS.

Would love to see some jeeps with MGs, SS-11s and other missiles, TOW launchers, and 106mm recoilless rifles for the Americans, and Munga jeeps for the Germans. Russian/Soviet jeeps too, as outfitted above too, where appropriate.

They were pretty ubiquitous back in the 1950s, 1960s, and I suspect into at least the early 1970s too.

Thanks guys, just recieved the Pendraken Falklands British, they're bloomin gorgeous! Also had a PT76 from them, just as nice as the Minifigs stuff and looks size compatable as well. Spoke to Pendraken, they are hoping to do 50's 60's and 70's. Things like Saladin / Saracen and iv'e asked for a late model Centurian, who knows? Will post some more pics of MF Scorpion and Russian infantry and PD PT76 and Brit inf as soon as pos.

Would love to see a nice, closeup pic of their BTR-60PB, if you have one of those.
