Does anyone know if the reorganised Portugese artillery divisions were equipped with shrapnel shells? |

They were retrained by the British and similarly equipped. Therefore they would have had access to 'spherical case' shot as it was officially known. |

Yes, they were supplied with round shot and explosive shells and also the 'sherical case'. |

I can confirm that they had Spherical Case. Remember that Dickson was Colonel of the Portuguese Artillery. Stephen |
