i recently read the ''A coat of steel'' rules and i was very impressed by them. I felt they had something different than the rest of the rules lovely playing aids and quite good for solo war gaming too. The only problem is that i have and i like my Hundred Years War Armies. Do you think they can be used? Also research need to be done for the commanders of the period similar to the commanders of WoR..This will be difficult.. |

To start with I would just take some of the noble cards from the WotR and use them for the HYW nobles, i.e., use Edward Plantagenet for Henry V, as you think appropriate. Or just use your HYW figures as WotR armies – I won't say anything!! ;-) Once you've used the rules and decided you like them, you can start more in depth research. If you go down this route, make sure you join the Perfect Captain Yahoo Group and make it know what your researching. You never know who may have gone down that path before you. |
