Don't look now, but the 75th Anniversaries of all of these battles are rapidly approaching.

So, who's going to be gaming these interesting aerial battles, e.g. the evacuation of Dunkirk, the English Channel Convoy Attacks, and the Battle of Britain?

Lots of good historical scenarios with brave men, heavily outnumbered, trying desperately to stave off the Luftwaffe.

I know I'm going to give it a go, in 1/144th scale for the aircraft, and 1/600th – 1/700th for the naval vessels. Not sure what I'll use for the BoB ground targets – probably need to create an airfield, and find some nice, affordable coastal radar antennae in about the smaller scales mentioned above.

Anyone know of a decent supplier, with reasonably priced models for those, in 1/600th – 1/700th, or even 1/300th scales?

Fortunately, I've got most of the aircraft needed for the games, but need to assemble and paint some Hurricanes, and Ju-88s, and put together the He-111s. Probably need to slap a bit more paint on some of the naval vessels too.

I suspect finding and/or creating a good safe way to store the bombers will be the most difficult task. The fighters and Stukas I've already got covered.

Now, where did I put those British destroyers?

I have full squadrons of each of the main BoB planes for both sides. Also have lots of coastals for othe action in the Channel.
