Earlier today I was suddenly struck by the feeling I was closing in on the final stages of this never-ending project -- which was a GREAT FEELING!

Put up a post with a handful of pics to sort of celebrate.

If interested, please click on the link below to check it out, and thanks in advance for your time if you do…

Here's a teaser pic showing a small test-piece with my final choice of color tint for the resin I'll be pouring into my Logar and Kabul river boards some time in the relatively near future:

Thanks very much, VonTed, and thank you, Eclaireur!

Have to say, Eclaireur, the table has made some noticeable strides since you were kind enough to grace it with your all-too-brief intercontinental presence! It would be great if you could find a way to arrange for work to require your presence in or around New Orleans this coming November 5-8 (Thursday to Sunday), so you could see it in what should by then be its fully completed state, covered with Afghan, Indian, and British figures, and surrounded by Colonial wargamers, yourself included!

But if that doesn't work out, I will definitely take and post a lot of pictures.

New Orleans? How cool would that be! I haven't been there in decades. Gotta feeling life might get in the way :-(

Very well done just looking at that makes me feel like I could get dysentery from it :)
Cheers and many happy games on it.

Make sure someone gets pics of the whole table-set in action!

Mad Guru, Once again, you have outdone yourself. The river treatment is awesome! I too am a Huge fan of Chris the Model Maker. He does some amazing stuff. I can't wait to see your game in all it's glory in NO at Colonial Barracks this year!!!! Hmmmm, now the only question is which side to play???
Cheers,
JB
