guys creating a ground display with model of b2 quite a few images of the rotary launcher used by the b52 (loaded with cruise and b61 nukes)on the net but none of the one used by the b2 have a old weapons file showing 2 different schematics of launchers (1 for b52 1 for b2 ) what I want to know is the b2 schematic seem to have the b61 round in circle but offset from each other where as b52 has all round in a circle (drawings are small and hard to make out) so is there a picture of b2 launcher fully loaded with b61 nukes out there somewhere? |

I'm sure there is/are, but they are probably classified. |

Same launcher proposed for a 747 cruise missile version of the Kitikami. Check for those drawings or photos. |

While I don't know that it's absolutely true for the B2, the B52 and B1 do share the same Common Strategic Rotary Launcher. I cannot believe that the B2 would not be designed to hold the CSRL. So I'm pretty sure that you'd be in good shape to use the pics from a B1 or B52's rotary launcher to detail your B2 model. Note that ALCMs are much longer than B61s or AGM-69s, so a B52 packs them all externally and a B1 loses one of the three bays if it's packing ALCMs internally. I don't know if the B1 could carry two ALCM rotary launchers or if it's one ALCM and one standard. |
