Our group attended our local convention Friday night and all day Saturday.
Trumpeter Salute is not a big convention but has been existence for a long time.

Attendance seemed a tad weak this year, with 17 tables available, there were a number open for games, during every session.
However the quality of games remains good.
Several local stores the largest being Imperial Hobbies were in attendance selling wares as well as Bob Murch owner of Pulp Figures, whom we are lucky enough to have here as well.

Our group put on 5 games, one Friday night and 4 Saturday.
Friday night: WOR 28mm game, Yorkist's won
Saturday: Shortened Version of Waterloo, in 15mm excluding the Prussian attack. French winning.
Saturday afternoon: Romans and Carthaginians, in 28mm Carthage being the winner.
Saturday night: Longstreet 28mm ACW
Battle of Plancentnoit: Prussians winning on the last turn.

Here are some photos of the various games: Hope you enjoy?

Waterloo 15mm was a practice of the full Waterloo in 28mm we will present Saturday morning and afternoon at Enfilade.
Friday afternoon and evening we will be doing Ligny in 28mm.
Both on 18 foot tables.

See you there!

I'll be going to Vancouver Island in the city of Victoria this summer. Are there any hobby shops there I should visit?

boy wundyr x30 Mar 2015 7:51 a.m. PST

Great pics, thanks for sharing. The dark blue plane in the last air race photo looks like it's about to drop out of the race in a hurry!

Doug MSC, I've not been to Victoria in a long time, and when I was there not much in the way of hobby shops, a few railroad shops.

Imperial Hobbies in Richmond is your best bet if you can stop there on the way to Vancouver Island. Lots of Figures, models, books, paint, accessories, etc.
Highly recommend you find a way to get there.

wrgmr1,
Thanks for the info. Unfortunately I'm crossing over from Port Angeles in Washington this time. However, If I'm ever up in that area I will check it out. Been up to Lake Louise and Banff three times by way of Calgary and been to Toronto once.
