Morning Campers,

Off to the Mediterranean this week for a spot of ship on ship action. Our re fight of the Battle of Spartivento, British vs Italians, Royal Navy vs Regia Marina.

A good balanced scrap with a surprising result. Enjoy.

Love it, Ken – really love it. The Med is a fascinating theatre with something for everyone: fleet actions, carrier operations, destroyer and cruiser skirmishes, convoys.

All the best

Great looking ships and bases, Ken.

What rules do you use?

Hi alphus99,

Home brew rules, written about 25 years ago still remarkably intact.

From your blog, you stated you were looking for ideas for WWII desert. Have you considered this book? Excellent for OB (1-5 figure-ratio-type rules like CCTOB and Spearpoint) and scenario ideas, even if you don't use CCTOB rules.

Hi Mark,

Cheers for the pointer, sadly I have been looking for that book here in the UK for years, ive either just missed it on eBay or needed to sell my house to get it.

I hope to find it one day.

try operation pedestal. nice two part game. one group with the convoy. the other keeping the Italian surface fleet at bay.
