Hello. Not all figures ready for a Waterloo game but wanted to try an 1815 battle to keep enthusiasm up. I understand that S&T 189 had OBS for this battle between the French Army of the Rhine (a single Corp) under General Rapp and an Austo-Wurtemburg force. I have found the French OB but cannot find details on their opponents. Has anyone a copy of the S&T back-issue (seems not to be available from the publishers archives). Regards Alan

Miniature Wargames had a (rough) Allied Orbat in their scenario for the battle in issue 72. They gave the OOB as (man/figure ratio 1:33):

3 Infantry regts each of 2 bns = 6 bns at 24 figs/bn
1 Rifle regt = 2 bns at 24 figs/bn
3 Landwehr regts = 3 regts at 30 figs/regt.

Austrian Division:
6 bns Line Infantry at 30 figs/bn
2 btns Jager/Grenz at 24 figs/bn
2 bns Grenadiers at 24 figs/bn.

Wurttemburg Division: (didn't reach battlefield)
6 Infantry regts each of 2 bns = 12bns at 24 figs/bn.
Hesse- Darmstadt Division: (didn't reach battlefield)
Leib Guard – 2 bns at 24 figs/bn
Guard Fusiliers – 2 bns at 24 figs/bn
Archdukes Infantry – 2 bns at 24 figs/bn
Leib Infantry – 2 bns at 24 figs/bn
Prince Emil Infantry – 2 bns at 24 figs/bn

Cavalry:
Wurttemburg – 2 regts Chevaulegers at 24 figs/regt
2 regts Chasseurs a Cheval at 24 figs/regt (didn't reach battlefield)
Austrian – 1 regt Uhlans at 24 figs
1 regt Hussars at 24 figs.
Artillery:
Wurtemburg – 2 btys, 6 pdr, Foot; I bty, 12 pdr (didn't reach battlefield); 2 btys, 6 pdr Horse

Thank you very much. This should be enough to create a realistic game. Regards Alan
