We played a Pulp Adventure! Hope you enjoy the AAR as much as we enjoyed the game. link |

Very nice! Love the terrain and minis, especially those tribesman archers. |

I rate it an 'almost'. Looks like fun and all but you need to 'dance' over and paint those movement trays. They stick out like sore thumbs in your visuals. Shame to spoil the otherwise pleasing visual effect with those glaring out so obviously. A little camo paint work and the issue is greatly reduced – except for how thick those bases are (one of my pet peeves). Otherwise, very nice – though I was hoping for more of a safari atmosphere rather than a lost worlds one but no harm, no foul. |

Thanks for the 'praise' and advice, Early Morning Writer. Just for you I'll be sure to pay far more attention to naming of parts in future. I guess since you pay for all my wargaming stuff you have a right to expect better of me. |

Different strokes. The bases and movement trays don't bother me in the least. For a diorama, yes, but not a wargame. |

Great looking game and nice to see something that emulates the spirit of Saturday Morning Cinema and the pulp era. In this day and age, these games were less is more certainly have a greater appeal to me than the great big Black Powder era games I used to play really enjoy the Dancing Cake tin blog too please do more of these games and reports Cheers |

Cheers, jpattern2 & raggedroyalist. It is the fun element that I want to figure large in my games with toys. AFAIAC the more plot holes, shaky sets, strange titles and just about believable stories the better. |

That…Thingumabobbie…that the adventurers were in/on…was that the afore mentioned "movement tray"? If so, you might have mentioned that in the narrative so those of us not in the know, wouldn't be scratching various body parts, because it did take away from the affect, but only because it looked like the craziest canoe/boat/dugout ever made. That was the only distraction I noticed re the movement tray, just not knowing. |

Yes, Andrew, it's an MDF movement tray. They come ready cut in various sizes and shapes. It never occurred to me to mention what it was in the narrative. I assumed it would be of little/no interest to readers. |
