Looking for Chinese buildings and boats (15mm) if there are any? Also want good ideas on how to make my own. Any information is appreciated. Thanks |

Mind you if it's 20mm+ you can get these wooden pagodas at Michaels cheaply. They are usually half off or there is a discount coupon: link Check the wooden puzzles while there too. They sell these in different packaging: link Also check Top Fin's aquarium scenery. There often have Chinese structures. Most tend to be 15mmish though. |

15mm. Alas, I asked this same question some time ago…there are no Chinese buildings in 15mm on the market. You would either have to use Japanese, which would not be correct architecturally, or scratch build your own. |

Try Hovels. I have a small village and it is very nice. the only problem is that it is a country village, not city buildings. link |

I picked some pagodas and other oriental items at Petco or PetSmart that match 28's. |

You can try: paperterrain.com They have 15mm buildings. I purchased them in 20mm and they look really nice. |

Hello B aka D You could look at Aliexpress and do a search on "courtyard house model". They work out about 30cm by 20cm so roughly 15mm:-
Just get rid of the minimalist trees :). Cheers GrumpyOldMan |

There are a bunch of those wooden puzzles I've seen in discount shops that are excellent 15mm scale chinese buildings, but the ones I've seen in the flesh were actually pretty complex builds.

Be careful with those puzzles as they were designed as puzzles so they usually do not have instructions in Chinese or English They can be very difficult to assemble . FYI the gate with the modern Chinese Flag was the entrance gate to the Nationalist Capital Building in Nanking It was stormed by the Red Army and is seen as a pivotable point in modern Chinese history |

Foam board, spackle and corrugated card stock, baby! Break out the Exacto |

The ones at Paper Terrain are very but are more Japanese than Chinese. The puzzle ones are close in scale but the details are crude. Old Glory was considering doing the Boxer Rebellious in 18mm for their Blue Moon line and would include doing the buildings as well. I hope they do! |

Designed by that eminent Chinese military architect, Ho Fau-Pan? |

The Hovels range is for Japan, so I believe different than Chinese buildings. Nice though! Paper buildings are beyond my building capabilities…unless I used foamboard as a backing…that might work. |
