What Board on TMP do you find most useful for the wargamer interested in that period? This means that questions asked are answered. That the "experts" know what they are talking about. That there is little rancor or drama. No hissy fits. And so on. Make up your own criteria. So I nominate the American Revolution Board. Yes, I was the one who made the Poll Suggestion to nominate it so I am biased. The thread about "uniforms" for the Highlanders at Moore's Creek Bridge really impressed me. It's full of suggestions, guys who know what they are talking about, obscure illustrations and figure recommendations. (The last admittedly from me… ) And no drama! So what are your favorite useful boards? |

Whatever one I am reading at the time? Good Question, actually. TMP is not my main "go to" website – That would now be link but there are several I read because they deal with the core games/miniatures I am consolidating on. Figure Finder on occasion has been vitally useful 15mm Fantasy 18th Century Discussion Victorian Colonial Board Victorian Science Fiction Biplanes WWII Aviation Discussion Modern Aviation Discussion (1946-2005) 15mm Sci-Fi 6mm Sci-Fi Spaceship Gaming Oh, almost forgot Swashbuckling The "most useful" will require more consideration if I must pick just one. |

For me I would have to say- and donīt laugh- the Napoleonics board. Though the expertise is not quite what it was in the old days, there is still a lot of valuable information there and, also unlike the old days, this information is given and received in a friendly manner. Although I must admit the board was much more fun back when it had teeth. |

Second the Napoleonic boards. Plus, the accumulated information in the archive of posts is amazing. And if you're starved for excitement, there's always the Napoleon Series forum… :) |

If I ever go to one particular board rather than just reading the front page, it is WWII Discussion. A distant second is Game Design. |

On the few occasions I've posted questions they've been answered helpfully on all forums here. That said, if I'm not looking for drama I'll head for Lead Adventure. |
