Actually there are very valid concerns that, being unmanned they could just get stolen (no one was on board, that's salvage, right?). Or that one might collide with something causing injury, death and damage. Current national and international regulation of unmanned systems at sea is pretty thin; the first significant accident involving a UxV will change that. |
