Funny how the Göring figure is rather trim.

Looking at the realised prices for the 25th March auction they seemed reasonably affordable.

I give it another decade before we really start seeing prices drop on certain collectables like these, action man, early airfix stuff, Britains swoppets etc etc.

Why ? well many of us to whom this stuff meant something ie we had it as kids, are hitting our 50's and 60s at least. My boys couldn't care less about my timpo, britains or action man items, despite having access to it growing up. Our generation being older and perhaps having more cash is keeping prices high at present, but do I see the "youngsters" forking out £120.00 GBP for a single mounted medieval swoppet in 20 years time ?

(btw another example is gum cards or for me, brooke bond cards, remember those…)

I dunno, I'll archive this question and if lucky revive it in 2035 and check the ebay prices then :)
