A detailed write up of a game featuring one of my new scenarios is at link [URL=http://s156.photobucket.com/user/4167MGK/media/Advance%20of%20the%20Matildas%20II/DSC_0255_zpszradxoxi.jpg.html]

A bit of discussion is required on the cows. How many survived the conflict? |

Very nice, well documented, AAR. Did you have somebody tasked with taking pics and/or notes exclusively? Doug |

Thanks guys All cows survived unharmed. We searched the rules but could not find their armour stats. I remember a fire power demo when I was in the services in which cows were on the firing range at the start of the day. We fired a few rounds over them to scare them off. They didn't even notice. We used some tanks to round them up…. I took photos as I played and put together the AAR from memory the next day. |

Tim Thanks for your kind comments. Yes the 88 is an old Hasegawa 88 with the crew dressed in their stylish Luftwaffe Field Blue uniforms. I might go through and see if I remember where I got the models from, although some are 35 years old…. And, target round on my sanity; yes, the blocks are individual. The board took a (long) day to put together. I don't consider it a waste of time as I like the result. I honestly can't think of a better way to get a reconfigurable board that portrays the terrain as well as it does. But you need time and a (reasonably) understanding wife when you steal the garage for a week…. |
