"The Adeptus Mechanicus are finally going to be in 40K

Here are the latest rumors:

via Lord Shadowheart (Warseer)

It looks like there are two combo kits doing the rounds that make these units:

Skitarii Rangers
Skitarii Vanguard
Sydonian Dragoon
Ironstrider Ballistarius…"

Those look very cool.

It will be neat to see the whole range.

The price isn't bad either at 10 models for $30 USD ish.

Actually like the look of these guys, and if the pricing is accurate they aren't too expensive.

When is the plastic Warlord Titan coming out though? ;P

Nice but their prices are ridiculous…

Tango0125 Mar 2015 10:03 a.m. PST

"Nice but their prices are ridiculous…"

How is $3 USD a figure for a 28mm figure ridiculous?

Mithmee25 Mar 2015 6:57 p.m. PST

I think that once you change it from British pound to American dollars the price will above $4 USD per figure.

Oh and $3 USD a figure is too much as well.

Pictors Studio25 Mar 2015 7:25 p.m. PST

It is priced at 38 euros. The euro is about a dollar right now, so maybe $3.80 USD. $3.80 USD or even $4 USD is a cheap price for a miniature of that quality.

That is below what I, and many others, would be willing to pay for such a good quality model.

$4 USD is probably half of what a figure like that should cost.

The evaluation of pricing is certainly subjective.

For me, there are better minis for less, and worse for more.

I will decide wether these kits are worth it for me once I see the sprues. I do have a Revenant and Warlord, and I do consider to add some expendable ground-hoggers to guard their tees.

jakethedog27 Mar 2015 2:56 p.m. PST

Its $39 USD for 10.

Interesting medieval German/Victorian Scifi look. Not a big fan of the walker, though.

I see Plasma… :-)

Do they get use Plasma by some kind of default?
How will they stack up when compared to Marines?
Is there a link to their stats?

KJdidit28 Mar 2015 11:37 a.m. PST

Their stats are in the new White Dwarf; you can probably find pics of the pages on the usual message boards (Warseer, Bell of Lost Souls, etc.).

Gasmasked Mook28 Mar 2015 2:38 p.m. PST

$4.00 USD per figure is a bit to stomach but considering it is one of those "dual purpose kits" you get a fair amount of change left over in bits. As someone with absolutely no intention of building these in a "legal 40k ruleset" configuration, I think I could probably get a lot of mileage out of the box.

And new ones are up now too!

Those look really cool. And I'm amazed they're priced so low for GW. Anyone know why?

Not that I'm complaining. I might actually buy some of these if the pricing is accurate.
