Okay, I'll bite. This is a vacuum only vehicle. Why is it *rusting*? |
Maddaz111 | 24 Mar 2015 6:42 p.m. PST |
It's a reaction with the coolant leak? |
Samuel McAdorey | 24 Mar 2015 9:23 p.m. PST |
Not unless the coolant is an oxidizer. I really like the dirt though. |

The answer is obvious to anyone who has ever worked in manufacturing. The contract supplier used the requirement for a "vacuum only vehicle" as an excuse to save costs by not providing any rust prevention for the metal surfaces. Whenever the vehicle is brought inside for service water condenses on the cold metal and everything starts to rust. They'd be happy to fix that for you, for the right price. |

I do like it, Armand. I appreciate your posts. You get carried away sometimes, but you show me things I would never see otherwise. |
