Years ago I was able to obtain a few samples of the Pass of the North 15mm ancient line, sent to me by Jeff Caruso (I believe that is the correct name). I went to the POTN entry here on TMP yesterday and see that they are only doing Mongols and that the previous ancients ranges had gone to GFI, which of course is sadly defunct. As GFI is kaput, does that mean the figures I seek (Romans, Carthaginians, Celts, oh my) are impossible to obtain?

Should be. I got some Roman camp workers a few months ago. Straight from the company.

Rudy,

What email address did you send payment to? I checked PayPal for 2014 and there is no purchase from you. Indeed, nothing but Mongols were sold in 2014. So it appears someone is pirating POTN and will be sorry sooner than later.

Darryl, GFI does not have my molds of course. It was a very short lived experiment, nasty and brutish. All molds but the Mongols are in storage. The Mongols are at the casters but will be returned to me in the near future.

I've been trying to get the editor to correct all the bogus info for Pass o' the North under Manufacturers but he has refused saying he was too busy, this as of October, 2014.

Rudy, it appears gremlins are at work everywhere but now that I'm aware I'll get it sorted out. Thanks for the inadvertent heads up.

Jeff

My date estimate was way off. i think it was a product swap a couple of years ago based on my notes.

So, GFI is listed as a producer of POTN figures which he has not been since 2001, and now Tom Dye is trading POTN figures for other companies wares? Figures that he neither bought from POTN nor has any legal stock of?

"Oh, what a tangled web they weave when first they practice to deceive."

I have never bought POTN from Tom Dye. I also have not bought anything from him since the production company GFI closed many years ago. I did not know he was back and making stuff again?

This is out of my area of gaming but is there anything you can use on the Irregular Miniatures site:

I would love to get my hands on enough PoTN Romans to do an army. They are wonderful figs.
