HawkCon is a new Convention run by the Team that brings you MOAB, and proudly supported by Hall of Heroes and War and Peace Games. Our objective is to provide a fun weekend playing games in the Hawkesbury area. HawkCon is run over the weekend of 9th-10th May and is located at the Hawkesbury Showground which is located opposite the Richmond RAAF base. We will be running a number of Tournaments including : Bolt Action Warhammer 40K Warhammer Fantasy Battle Chain of Command Malifaux Flames of War DBA Infinity Impetus and more to come! This year, after feedback from surveys at MOAB, we will also be introducing The Arena ! After registering this is where you can play a casual game against an opponent at your own pace and timing, without the more structured approach of a tournament. Read here for more information. So far we have confirmed that there will be participation games of Bolt Action (run by the awesome and inexhaustible Demo Gamers) and games of Dead Mans Hand (wild west gunfights). Some of the games we have on the list are: Star Wars: X-Wing Star Wars: Imperial Assault Star Wars: Armada Deadzone Dreadball Kings of War Mars Attacks! It is with great regret that we must announce the cancellation of HawkCon 2015 which was planned for May 9th-10th. This was an ambitious effort to offer a new convention for Sydney; however at this stage it is not viable to run it for a number of reasons. We'd like to thank the Tournament and Participation Game Organizers for their efforts, Hall of Heroes and War and Peace Games for their sponsorship and all the other traders for their contributions and input into the convention.

B*gger – what a shame. I was bringing my boys along to this one so they can do Warhammer stuff while I look around the Bring & Buy and traders. Hopefully it comes together for next year.
