Not sure yet. I'll let you know when it occurs. My guess, given current reactions to anything new in the neighborhood, neighbors, or things that have moved (trashcans, cars, packages, etc.) to a new location since last being outside is, lots of barking. |

Parrots get in a complete and utter flap, whereas goldfish take it quite swimmingly. |

My cats seem mildly amused at what is happening on the kitchen table and soft paw the figures and steal the dice when I'm not looking. |

Dogs stick with us to the bitter end. Cats fight the zeds for the rights to eat our still cooling corpses. Gangs of ferrets wire our bones back together and stage epic battle-bots duels. |

Doesn't that depend on the type of zombie? Didn't the Romero zombies only eat people? While the walkers from the Walking Dead do eat animals (at least horses). |

Ever seen a zombie cough up a hairball after eating a pet? It's hairlarious! ;-) |

You could get a feeling for this by taking the cat for a walk down any thoroughfare where people under 30 perambulate or congregate; after all, the techno-zombie apocalypse is here. |

They sleep through it then wake up when its time to begin their own battle for supremacy to see who will be ruler of New Earth. |

As Jim point out: you have to choose your zompocalypse. NotLD: Animals unaffected, Zeds not interested. TWD: Animals unaffected, but are seen as prey by Zeds. RotLD: Animals are affected by pure Trioxin 2-4-5, but not by its derivative; Trioxin 5, in the latter sequels. RE: most wildlife is unaffected by the T-virus. Exceptions are deliberately-infected lab animals (like the Umbrella Corporation's attack dogs) and carrion animals that eat infected bodies (like "Extinction"s crows). [REC]: the supernatural force which causes zombie infection in the REC series can and does possess animals when it suits it's purpose. |
