So, I have a question for you painters with knowledge of Vallejo and her works. I got a few bottles of paint from hobby lobby, which has a short list of colors. Now, with no dunkelgelb in sight, I picked up Desert Yellow (70.997/125). Well, the question is this; Will this be too light, if so can I use Green Grey, Brown Violet, Beige brown or German Camo Medium brown to darken it. If so, what ratio would you recommend. This will all be brush painted by the way. |

Painted vehicles fade in the sun. Nothing is ever as it was in the factory. |

Would a brown or a black/brown wash at the end help you? |

Middlestone is the color needed |

Middlestone is a very nice color indeed. I have also been using their Model Air Sand Yellow as I think it looks like what I can only describe as the 'creamier' color seen towards the end of the war. |
