Just put the Carthaginians up on pre order on the Victrix website.

I will sort a proper news item out on Monday but for now her are a few images of the plastics.

We are really happy with the way they have come out. The detail is as good if not better than the Romans in some cases.

I am finishing off the first batch of transfers on Sunday and will have them online on Monday.

For all the images and detail just pop along to the Home page for all the info.

All the best,

Steve.

Those look great.

They look lovely, as much as I feel 28mm does not suit my small set-up I am mesmerised and drawn to them – the above is not helping!

Really nice looking figures. The Punic Wars really are a period crying out for some good plastics.

It looks like they have them now.

Always glad to see more great looking plastics, even if they are not in the period I game.

Steve,
Will only the citizen infantry get the preorder decals or will both boxes come with a sheet of decals if preordered?

STEVE LBMS21 Mar 2015 4:40 p.m. PST

Hi Das sheep,

Any of the two sets you buy get a free sheet. So you can buy Citizens and a box of Carthaginian warriors and get 2 sheets for example.

Glad people are liking these.

Best regards,

Steve.

Great looking figures – will give them high priority in my painting schedule!

Good to see these guys are now out. I did like the Italian transfers and from the 'freebie' the Carthaginian ones look like they will be easily as good.

I just have to work out what to do with 28 Libyans???

Steve – is it to early to ask what are the plans for Spanish and Gauls? Even a preliminary indication of what is likely to be in the box would be most helpful.

Thanks

Garry

Hi Gary,

A bit to early for detailed information about the Spanish, Gauls and Numidians. But the formula we have adopted is to have a main frame that contains the bulk troop type and then a couple of skirmish types or slingers or archers etc… plus a command frame.
So for the Spanish for instance we are looking at some Balearic slingers but the main bulk will be Scutari and Caetrati.

Regards,

Steve.

Thanks Steve – I was hoping you would say that!

Spanish are further down the track so late 2015 is fine. Will start Veterans as soon as they land downunder. Already have some metal Scutarii, your guys will round these off as well as providing Caetrati and Balearic slingers.

Cheers

Garry
