I've not done anything extra to my Dingo scout car, well not yet
its being built straight from the box. The driver came in the kit and a commander figure which I still have to do, I have removed the rear view mirror it was to fragile to last for long
I have dry brushed it but that's all the weathering I have done so far. So thanks for looking Cheers for now Russ |

Good job. Looks the part! Is that brush work only or did you use an airbrush or spray there too? |

Thanks guys Temporary like Achilles, its all done by brush, either drybrushing or even stippling with a old brush! Don't use a good brush it will only ruin it. Thanks Robby, its a nice little kit. Goes together well and paints up real nice. I'm unsure about the commander figure but once painted I'm pretty sure he will make a good addition. I still have several bits to add to my brits so I will post more stuff soon. Cheers for now Russ |

Thanks Augustus, I know that the 1/48 verses 1/56 scale will rumble on but I think 1/48 is the way to go! |

And this kit was how hard? I just did the BA-64 and it was a breeze and was only $8 USD from Hong Kong. Yep got 6 of them and a Gaz Jeep. Sir the work you do is incredible. Inspiring. I do a quick bit of brush work straight over the bare plastic. Then I have my powders that I rub on top of that. Muddy them and we have good models. Nice to see your work. was asking myself what has bracken been up to??? JH |

JH the kit was simple to build, no real effort required. It went together well, no gaps no filling required. The part of the kit that took the longest to do was paint the driver and the interior. Ok the kit has more parts then the BA kits but I enjoy the building element of the kits and I like the detail Tamiya kits provide. Thank you for your kind words regarding my work, I'm glad you find it inspiring. I am quite old fashioned in my methods, I still have not tried weathering powders and other methods like filters. Like I said I am old fashioned and only just taken the plunge of setting up a blog. Its nice to know I am thought of and my posts are missed if I keep my head down out of the spotlight for a while. I have being indulging my other passion of the ACW so I have being posting, just not WW2 stuff. I am still pottering about with my WW2 stuff so I will keep posting, I just don't seem to have enough time to spend on projects like I would like to. sorry I seem to have gone on a bit Thanks again for your comments they are warmly received cheers for now Russ |
