This last weekend I was fortunate to play in a multiplayer WotR game. My jaw hit the floor when I saw the 'table'.

Stupendous way to play a campaign game in "one go". With a resolution. With map movement and battles all rolled together. Who came up with this idea? It is a new one to me….

That is very very cool!

Scrope is always my go to guy in Kingmaker. I always have a soft spot in my heart for that game. Great looking game.

Wow, what a cracking looking game, and Kingmaker was always one of my favourites thumbs up

Ah, the classic 'tempest in a tea cup' campaign, very cool!

An impressive event.

Quite the table, reminds me of the pictures I have seen of the wargames holiday center tables.

Kingmaker is a classic, we played it until you could barely see the chits. Great way to play this, fantastic.

That strikes me as close to the perfect weekend for a gamer. Simply fabulous.

Napoleon's (a now defunct game store in Milwaukee) had a 28 x 8 table that regularly hosted 28mm Napoleonic games with thousands of figures…sadly no more…

These types of grand, skirmish campaign games can be great but they have to be done right. I once saw a FIW game like this where one side broke the scenario by marching all of their varied armies together immediately into a couple of large formations.

The layout of the table allowed them to cut off all of the opposing sides smaller forces from each other and then they just marched around taking out the smaller forces one at a time. Great tactics and well within the rules but it made for a pretty one sided and crappy game. It was supposed to last a whole weekend (Fri night thru mid-day Sunday) but everyone was done by noon on Saturday.

Just a cautionary tail that the GM's really need to put the thought and play-testing into this sort of game for it to come off well.

James/olicana has posted some rather large setups of his own. So, if he says it is the biggest he has ever seen, IT MUST BE HUGE!

Nice looking game. Thanks for posting!
