Straight from Brigade towers comes something very new and exciting in the form of some really nice 15mm full body armoured troops with support and command assets, as soon as I can I will be all over these miniatures i think they look superb, the poses look great and i am sure they will be of a high quality cast, just a thought but if you wanted to you could even use them in conjunction along side Ground Zero Games Neu Swabian League troops… :) Zac

Salute 2015 is now about five-and-a-half weeks away. Loads of time, aeons. That said, the show edition of Miniature Wargames has just dropped through the letterbox which reminds us that we're getting ever closer. We've been planning our show releases since before Xmas, although as always we'll be panicking up to the last minute I'm sure ! It's time to start previewing them, which we'll do over the coming 3-4 weeks.
The first batch of masters has arrived ready for moulding – and we have to admit to being quite excited by them. Although we have a few packs of figures in our 15mm range (some lovely PF aliens and bounty hunters, our Power Armour and some very useful tank crew) we don't have any straightforward, ground-pounder infantry. So we've got together with Martin Baker and he's sculpted us some really excellent figures, based around some 3D designed and printed weapons. These are straight out of the package that came in the post this morning, and will be off for moulding tomorrow so I haven't had long to get them photographed.

As you can see we have a number of infantry poses, plus command, support weapons (SAW, grenade launcher and rocket launcher), snipers and heavy weapons crewmen. The gunners will be paired up with tripod mounted versions of our pintel weapons(unfortunately I didn't have any to hand when I took the photos). They will be sold in packs of eight figures (or equivalent), although we haven't finalised the exact contents just yet. Having these available will also allow us to create platoon packs of APCs with crew and infantry and we'll also create complete army packs of tanks, APCs, infantry and support vehicles

After playing around recently with several different companies miniature and for what ever reasons not quite being satisfied with them after i had purchased them i think that i have finally found what will become my mid future Israeli troops, and if all goes well just wait until you see the Grav Mekarva tank that i have been planning… :) Zac

Very nice indeed.

The juice runneth over. Brigade is going at a fast pace releasing all this goodness. I must resis the urge to buy until I can replenish the war budget.

Just wondering if BM will be selling packs of the weapons? For infantry conversions?

Thanks, everyone – Martin has done a fantastic job of turning my scribbled concepts and vague descriptions into some lovely figures, so the praise should rightfully go his way.

@arngrimson – not immediately, but yes we will be looking at this.

I must say, I really do like these!

Finally, some gunners for my Mantra Cavalry Vehicles. Are you going to sell them in 3, 6, 9 or 12-packs (I need 9) for the Mantra's, or only in the 8-pack as you mentioned? The 8-pack would really suck if you need 9 or 12 gunners.

TheRedEpic19 Mar 2015 3:29 p.m. PST

REALLY nice stuff, i will def be picking these up!

Mako1119 Mar 2015 6:57 p.m. PST

Very nice, dynamic sculpts.

I know its a bit WH40Kish but what are the chances of adding a couple of hero types to this range i just think there is a general lack of hero / character figures in 15mm Sci-fi gaming, after all they are catered for in most game rule systems but not that many miniature companies actually produce them.

Dave L – good point, eight would be a silly number ! Three (one vehicle's worth) makes the most sense.

AVAMANGO – we'll see how these go first, but I have plans for more in the range. But then what makes a hero figure ? I won't be going down the WH40k route with heroes in gold-plated or super-decorated armour, but I can see a place for some extra leader figures, maybe without helmets or in heroic poses. But we have a bit of investment in these to make up first …

AVAMANGO20 Mar 2015 9:02 a.m. PST

but I can see a place for some extra leader figures, maybe without helmets or in heroic poses.

Yup this is what i meant the heroically posed commander and the helmetless hero in standard armour that matches the rest of the gruntz just more dynamically poses to set them apart.

Wolfprophet20 Mar 2015 9:10 a.m. PST

Those look good. I've never ordered from Brigade, but these would convince me to place an order I think.

Wolfprophet, Brigade has great product and they always are releasing more.

Victor Kravenhoff25 Mar 2015 3:11 p.m. PST

They look great!
will the tripod mounted heavy weapons be avaible seperately?

@Victor – yes
