I see they still have a notice about health issues, etc..up on their site, but they are still showing new product for the month of March? Reading the TMP posts, it seems that they are "iffy" at the most, and most responding when a paypal dispute is filed. So do we have word on if they are getting their operations up and running again or should I just write them off? |

I game with Ben from BCB every Monday evening. They are still in business and still operating, but the health issues are ongoing and long term. I can assure you they would not rip people off but i do understand that poeple can be put off because despatch has been somewhat hit and miss. Rees (I am a good friend of Ben n jo at BCB (no sock puppeting etc ) |

The "New Product" thing is a feature of the shop software they are using and not any indication of a real new product…. I really do think they need to sort out the site and their ordering to regain something of their reputation They are nice people and have some great product – but not communicating at all is not a way to run a business. I agree Black Hat…there are some things I would like to order from them but then reading the issues on TMP and LAF that people are having with them is disheartening and it basically keeps me from doing business with them. |

Hi, I'm still waiting for an order to the value of £26.00 GBP whic I placed with them on 18th August 2013. Despite numerous attempts to contact them about it I have never heard any word from them about it. I've now given up hope of ever receiving it. I will never order anything else from them and I (and many others – see the thread on Lead Adventure) wouldn't recommend doing business with them. In my opinion, illness or not, taking a customer's money without supplying the goods is a breach of contract. I did not open up a PayPal dispute about my order as I felt sorry for them and had faith that they would eventually fulfil their obligations but I have been sadly disappointed. |

Moonfleet if you know Black Cat point them at link I'd love to order from them but they need to sort out the ridiculous issues. Either sell the company or get someone in to run the order fulfillment side. |

Yeah. Agreed. They have great stuff and I want lots of it, but I'm not ordering from them based on their current rep. Health issues are unfortunate, and a lot of folks seem pretty sympathetic. But if and when they do pass, it doesn't seem like they're going to have much of a company to return to unless they sort things out quickly.Selling the company might be a good idea. They could probably get a decent price based on the quality of their product. |

I game with Ben from BCB every Monday evening. Seriously? It's nice to know they're able to maintain their gaming schedule while they take customers' money for product they don't deliver, and that the inquiries that those customers send (and that go unanswered) are not interfering with said gaming. Wow. Any sympathy I may have had for BCB's issues has just gone out the window. And bong67, two years? What's wrong with you? You're doing other customers (victims?) a disservice by not opening a dispute. I will be opening a PayPal dispute for the product I paid for but have heard nothing about since. Not doing so is irresponsible, because what BCB is doing is called fraud, and it's illegal. And if you and people like you don't dispute their disreputable behavior, regardless of their reasons for it, you're just encouraging/empowering them to continue stealing from people. moonfleetminis, maybe at next Monday's game – when Ben's having a good time while customers' queries are going unanswered and their paid for product still isn't being shipped – you can convey a message to BCB from one of the customers whose money they've taken but whom they refuse to acknowledge: if you can't provide customers with the product for which they've paid, stop stealing from people and close your doors. |

The advisory has now changed: I apologise for the delay on dispatch of orders, this has been due to severe and prolonged ill health. We have now dispatched all but 4 outstanding orders, they will be out within the next 10 days. We will of course be honouring all orders. We would like to extend our sincere thanks for your patience. You will receive confirmation once your order has been dispatched. Once again my sincere and unreserved apologies! We are up to date with all new orders and normal turn around times are now back in place. I made a small order some months back, and my experience suggests a company that is or was dealing with troubles, but with honest intent to provide that which people have paid for. The order arrived after a couple of months, and then recently was accidentally dispatched a second time. I contacted them to remedy this, but they advised me to keep the second package with compliments. Maybe people missed the advisory on their site to expect lengthy delays, but it was there, front and centre. With all that considered, I think it's unjust to start throwing around some of the labels that can be read above and on other threads. |
