For those of you who enjoyed my earlier volume featuring the Germans and French I have now completed another volume with 50 new and original scenarios featuring the BEF.
These are designed for Command Decision but are easily used by any game system that uses one stand = one platoon or tank troop. These are detailed historical scenarios I'm asking $50 USD Australian. Please contact me at mgkmilsims@gmail.com I still have available the 50 featuring the French. Same quality, same price.
Now I appreciate you may not have the odd $100 USD sitting around to splash on new scenarios so I have three supplements that take scenarios from the two volumes. This way you can dip in and see for yourself. Please note these are taken from the 100 scenarios in the two volumes; they are not different. For $20 USD Australian
For $15 USD Australian
And for $10 USD Australian

TMP has inserted a USD after the Dollar figure. To be clear I'm asking Australian dollars. Given that our dollar is diving faster than Rudel's Stuka at the moment this should work to many peoples' favour. Google 'Currency Converter' and you will see that Fifty Dollars Australian is Thirty Eight dollars US. Good time to Buy! |

Since I really enjoy gaming the early war (Poland, Finland, France), I bit the bullet and ordered these scenarios. I do not play Command Decision. I use another set of rules (Look, Sarge, No Charts: WWII), but these scenarios are excellent. Regardless of what rules you use, I think this book will be helpful. Here are some things I like: - The detail is very good. The order of battle are complete and are formatting in a way that will be familiar to CD players. - I like the fact that there is not only a gaming table map but a photo of a military topographic map of the playing area as well. - There is enough historical background to give the players a sense of what is happening and why the battle matters. - Each of the two books includes a cross reference of scenarios vs. table size and scenarios vs. turn length that would be helpful in choosing a scenario for game night. He has done a lot of research, and I think this is a good value. On top of that, you can send him the cash through PayPal and get the scenarios in either PowerPoint or pdf within 24 hours. So you have time to get the book and choose a scenario before the weekend! :) Buck Surdu |

I will be doing a bit of 'bath-tubbing' as I don't play Command Decision either, but I picked up "Rommel's Ghost Division" for my upcoming campaign, and the scenarios look great. Thanks Michael! V/R, Jack |

Holy smokes, that's a lot of scenarios. Tempted to do the bathtub approach and just scale everything down one step for Company Commander. |

Ivan, Or you could leave things pretty much the same and use Brigade Commander (simply using company bases instead of CD's platoon bases). V/R, Jack |

I know you stated you would send a sample to those who asked, but can you post a sample here? |

Ask and thou shalt receive. You can also click on Stonne 1940 in the same Scenario Message Board. The links there will take you to three games, and the bottom link takes you to a complete scenario. This one is the first from the BEF volume. This is one of the smaller scenarios. All scenarios follow this same format, noting that these are JPEGs so a little fuzzy. Is this Command Decision the old 3 booklet boxed set that I may have lurking around – it came with the Stolberg Corridor scenario. I always thought these looked good, but never got them to "game stage" (story of my life). If so, I may be tempted. Or even consider getting the rules if they have been updated. Thanks Marc |
mgk4167 | 28 Aug 2015 2:55 p.m. PST |
Marc It is Command Decision, although the scenarios would work very well with any rules set that use platoon as the basic stand. Command Decision is now up to rule set IV also known as Test of Battle. I can't remember it ever being a three booklet boxed set and I have every edition since the first. The only three booklet boxed set I know is the now very old Tractics of which I have a nostalgia set. Command Decision did include the Stolberg Corridor scenario I think in version I or II. Anyway, if you email me at mgkmilsims at gmail.com I will be happy to talk. Who knows, I might even become a TMP supporter finally :) |

The first edition was three booklets (I have four in the box but the fourth is the stolberg corridor) |
