I am also glad to see sock puppet accounts closed. Much of the rest of this is either sour grapes or internet playground name calling. FTR I don't think I have even ever been to the frothers page. Oh, and we use 'mate' here in London all the time …. |
Texas Jack | 29 Mar 2015 8:33 a.m. PST |
So… dare I ask why badlydressedhob´s account was locked? Is he a previously banned member, or did he perhaps commit ritual suicide by stifling an editor? Not that anyone cares, just curiosity on my part. @Geoff- your behavior in this has been fine, and I see no gloating at all. I think some people just look for something to be upset about. |
GeoffQRF | 29 Mar 2015 8:39 a.m. PST |
For the record, I didn't push the button on him. |

"Lets recap: KM/Larry Dunn was caught with sock puppet accounts. He was also caught trolling with fake accounts (John the ORM, Tango 01 and so forth). he was completely silent after being caught, offering up no defense." I have seen no proof that Larry Dunn is in actuality KM aside from insinuations. Ditto proof of those sock puppet accounts being his, aside from Bill saying, "Trust me, they are." And KM hasn't said anything because HIS ACCOUNT IS LOCKED. Sheesh. Carry on with the witch hunt… |
GeoffQRF | 29 Mar 2015 10:39 a.m. PST |
Have you actually read the previous 9 pages? |
Editor in Chief Bill | 29 Mar 2015 11:39 a.m. PST |
dare I ask why badlydressedhob´s account was locked? It was locked while I got a clarification from him. He's in the DH now. |

Wonderful, I love a happy ending! |

Sock puppets aside, I took a disliking to "Jon" when he accused Keith of ArmiesArmy of copying parts of one of his vehicles. |
Armiesarmy | 30 Mar 2015 3:02 a.m. PST |
Ah yes. All because I'd created a dual automated weapons turret. One I might add that had zero support on here. Quite the opposite in fact Funny how the sockpuppets started to following me after Id declined Larrys "offer" to the line. |

'corky bravado'?? is that even legal? |
John Treadaway | 01 Apr 2015 3:21 a.m. PST |
I thought "Corky Bravado" was the name of your sock puppet, Geoff? ….. John T |

Take heart, GeoffQRF … I needed a mercenary name for an Ace Goodknight adventure. Now I don't. |

I have it on good authority that the QRF figures are very unrealistic and thus not worth buying. For one, they are only 15mm tall, which is totally unrealistic given that a normal soldier is closer to 6 feet. |
Texas Jack | 01 Apr 2015 10:58 a.m. PST |
I am glad someone else noticed that. And those 6mm, sheesh, what were they thinking?
[/URL] |
GeoffQRF | 01 Apr 2015 11:03 a.m. PST |
No, the 6 foot ones are close up, the 15mm ones are really far away… |

Kyote – When I open a picture of you on my computer, it's about 3" tall on the screen. Does that mean you're actually 28mm scale in real life? Heroic scale, surely! |

etotheipi | 02 Apr 2015 2:48 p.m. PST |
28mm is a size. I am 1:1 scale … unless I have been drinking. |

Team Frog posted on their Facebook page in February: FYI – teamfrog.com & CritterCommandos.com are both moving to new hosting companies, and will likely be unavailable this week. But new stuff on them is coming, as are new experiences with a couple of other IPs we have.. |

It's April (?) Paul tells me he's been busy working two jobs, but hopes to get the websites back up this weekend. |

Didn't Team Frog run off with their Kickstarters investors' money …allegedly? He tells me he's had some life problems (pain, neck surgery, lost a job) but fully intends to complete the projects. |
GypsyComet | 04 Apr 2015 8:48 p.m. PST |
I knew Paul during his several year stay in the SF Bay Area years ago. He did not strike me as the sort who would "run off" with people's money. |
Editor in Chief Bill | 04 Apr 2015 9:42 p.m. PST |
I worked with Paul at Origin Systems/Electronic Arts. If I remember right, his office was just across the hall for a while. (We moved offices at lot there!) I believe he'll come through on the Kickstarters. |

"Corky Bravado" I think that was the name of a 70's porn star. He wore an ascot and had a perm. |

I think that was the name of a 70's porn star. He wore an ascot and had a perm. Nah … I was thinking more like this:
… a little swagger and good in a pinch, but perhaps a bit too confident. |

"Corky Bravado" I used to dance under that name. |

While I am deeply disappointed that TMP is becoming a little bit less of a one-stop shop for 15mm sci-fi previews and release announcements, the evidence is pretty compelling, and if it wasn't, it's Bill's show anyway. The half-baked ads /bumps for his topic are one thing, but attacking other manufacturers… well that's just not cool. |
