Dreamblade Repainted

Hundvig Fezian is not a real big fan of pre-painted minis, and he positively despises randomly-packed "collectable" ones - so why is he writing this article?

hi guys
downloaded couple of sat images as targets for my airstrikes/recon (airports, railways, bridges, etc)
problem is google direction box shows up in top left and another box shows up in bottom right (going to show up on images I print)any easy way to remove them temporarily before I print the image/target

Don't zoom in as hard around the target and use a pair of scissors once you print?

Photoshop if you have it. If not, GIMP is free gimp.org

Even the photo tools included with Windows have a cropping tool … it should not be too hard to select your image from Google Earth such that the part in which you're interested is in the middle, and then crop out the pointers in the corners.

thanks guys
for high alt bombing small (area) targets great
but some of my missions are low to medium (meaning I need specific visual points on the targets)
unfortunately no matter which way I turn/rotate it I end up covering some part of the target with those google boxes

I know there's a way to snag an image that only has the Google Earth copyright tag on it, I've seen mid-altitude photos that only have the google earth tag.

I've never seen a Google Earth shot with the controls boxes on it.
