La Academia de Artillería – Puerta de Dia Sanz (principios del siglo XX)

"On May 16, 1764, by order of King Charles III, the Royal School of Artillery was inaugurated in the Alcazar of Segovia, under the direction of Earl D. Felix Gazola., So this year we celebrated the 250th anniversary of the school artillery of the army.

In this scene it depicts a group of officers of artillery showing the various uniforms of that time, posing for a photographer and as a backdrop, the door Day Sanz in the early twentieth century, the main access to the Artillery Academy for Teachers and boarding school students belonging to the convent of San Francisco, home of the academy after the fire suffered in the Alcazar of Segovia in 1862. the building is located near the Roman aqueduct and in the photos below we can see the various reforms that have been undertaken to modernize and adapt to their functions…"
