Check out Brooklyn Wargaming for my ongoing 28mm project with some more German infantry and a MG 34 from Artizan Designs. Pics, painting guide and more on the blog…

Nice. They're both MG42's though. The only figure I know of with an MG34 from Artizan is a Fallschirmjager.

MG42's have square cross sections while MG34's have round cross sections and venting holes.

For Germans with MG34's see Crusader, Warlord and BTD.

The 42 seems to have the barrel floating in the air. What happened to the bipod? Easy to make from a paper clip, paint and glue on.

The MG42 was the most advanced machine gun at the time and did not require a bipod due to secret nazi anti gravity technology that Hitler insisted on developing.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. Through the wonders of editing, I've updated the post and will get the MG42 fixed with a tripod soon.
