I have made jump fields for my star ships but am looking for a jump gate (example: Babylon 5) for my normal commerce and travel. I remember seeing one some time ago (in a galaxy far away?) but do not remember who made it.

Gzg has one like the Bab5 one. I own it.

Thanks,

John

We used a plumbing thingy for a jump gate one time:

I made this one cheaply:

What'd you use Warlock?
Thanks

These are little bits of plastic cut and glued around a plastic ring I had in the bitz box, sprayed black' then painted in various grays.

Checked out GZG but could not find it in the lists. Others are interesting ideas which I may end up using but was hoping could get a premade one that I didn't have to design and build.

With my ship jump fields I took a foam ball and cut in in half. Then hollowed out the cut area and used plumbers putty on it (the hollow end i put in a swirl pattern in the putty). Painted it black and dry brushed red on outside and dry brushed gray in the inside. Put a single stand on the smaller ones and 2 stands on the larger ones. Will show at a later time.

Would be worth emailing Jon at GZG, might of been missed off list when updated site.

When you find it, let me know. I've got a few errands to run in a far flung galaxy …

I purchased one of these Star Wars models with a "hyperdrive ring." I cut out the ship and will just use the ring as the warp gate. I haven't painted mine yet.

Pretty sure that, like the not-B5 station itself, haven't been available for awhile.

One might drop Jon a note to see if he has any on hand, though.

If it's far flung, you'll need a lot more than one. ;->=

I had an Estes Trade Federation ship I'd cut up to make a BFS (borrowing from BFG) from the center part, but never had something good to do with the 'wings.' Should have made them pillars on the table, ( ), and ships could have passed through easily.

I don't see the stargate mini on GZG's web store. Here is a picture of one of them but you would use them in pairs

Is it worth me lasering up something similar?

could do a ring with 2, 3 or 4 wrap bars on.

MMG.

I did the exact same thing as Steve--converted a hyperspace ring from a SW Titanium fighter into a jumpgate:

Yep, that's the one StarRanger. I use two of them.
