This was already posted two days ago as a Hobby News item here and it was listed as Joan of Arc. Not Jean.

Actually it shouldn't be either "Jean" or "Joan", it should be Jeanne D'arc.

Jeanne d'Arc, oui. Interesting figure, altho' appears a bit on the beefy side. And Jeanne la Pucelle was probably black-haired, not a blonde, from what little firsthand evidence we have.

It's surprisingly hard to find a decent Joanie figure. I have been using a "Repanse of Lyonesse" fantasy mini myself (who made this, GW?) -- can't find my scans on this new computer, drat! But I think I've posted them before on TMP, search for Repanse of Lyonesse or Joan of Arc and one could probably find it.

We'll compromise with brown hair, a la Ingrid Bergman….

That figure was released by GW, though the actual name was Repanse de Lyonesse.

Perrys also do Jeanne figure in their HYW range.

Yes, I stand corrected. It's been a long time. I remember how many separate pieces there were to this figure and how outrageously expensive she was. Found some of my scans of my final figure, dolled up with standard. There are many fantasy or anachronistic elements, obviously, but I like its spirit and effect and at the time it was the best of anything I could find.

The sharp eyed will note the reversed lettering on one side of the standard, since I took this as a scan from a book. I could flip the image but not reverse the lettering.

The Perry Brothers (I think) also have a good Joan/Jene.

I used the Repanse figure for Brienne from Ice And Fire.
