Nice find! Bamboo that both looks good and can be handled while gaming is tough to make by hand, so this is a good alternative. |

Those look really good and it's great there's a tutorial. I have one quibble: if you actually look at a stand of bamboo, unless it's in a garden, there's usually a bunch of dead dried bamboo around the standing stalks. If realism is what you're going for, consider littering your bases with stalks and leaves. |

I did this too awhile back and learned that you can get the bamboo with and without a wire – in my case, I found working with the kind with wire was far easier and not as susceptible to stalk sagging. |

Bamboo sure looks pretty … link But if you ever try to eradicate it from your yard, or if you are trying to keep your neighbor's bamboo from growing under the fence and into your yard, be ready for a battle like you've never experienced before. Dan |
