Wow, looks like they are redoing most of their line. Only North Africa stuff left in 15mm and their towns are gone as well. Very much looking forward to their new stuff as a big fan of theirs. |

He has gotten rid of all his resin models and another fellows has bought the molds and is going to be producing them. There was another thread about this not too long ago. I have to say that Crescent Root's route new stuff is incredible, though. |

The best buildings I have |
leidang | 15 Mar 2015 10:19 a.m. PST |
Yes, he has somehow been able to overcome the cartoony, 3-d puzzle look that most MDF buildings have. They are very nice. |
Doctor X | 15 Mar 2015 10:46 a.m. PST |
I was thinking the same thing as Leidang. They don't look MDF like at all. |

The buildings are truly superb. They are easier to store but can be set up quickly and robustly. I have just taken delivery of this one: link It will serve as une sucrerie for my WW1 skirmish battles. These factories processed sugar beet and were often used as defensive positions. Robert |

I love my Crescent Root buildings from this line. The only thing about these new ones that makes me cautious is that the roof shingles are now all uniformly flat. In the previous buildings there was variation in the roof shingles, which added depth. These look completely flat. |

looking good! 20mm not available til 2016 and I use them for my 25s |

So Crescent Root is NOT making their beautiful old resin models any longer? Dammit. |
leidang | 16 Mar 2015 10:11 a.m. PST |
Somebody else bought the molds for the resin buildings and they should be back in production soon. TMP link |
Doctor X | 16 Mar 2015 8:49 p.m. PST |
I just got my order in, painted, and shipped for 28mm resin in December. The building s were great and I'm looking forward to what the new owner can do to expand the resin ranges. |
McWong73 | 17 Mar 2015 2:04 p.m. PST |
I hppe they continue to do their terrain tiles, the mdf ones I've picked up are superb. |

Marc33594 | 17 Apr 2015 6:49 a.m. PST |
Holding out for their new 15mm range. Everything they have done to date has been simply amazing. |
monk2002uk | 17 Apr 2015 10:25 p.m. PST |
Oops, should be 'crêpes'. Marc, I agree. Thankfully I already have a lot of Crescent Root's previous 15mm range. These are either back in production or about to be re-released under new ownership, so worth picking up if you like resin buildings. Mine were pre-painted and look very nice as a result. Robert |

Same with me Robert. Long time customer and have plenty of Mark's stuff. And yes, got all mine painted as well, they did such a good job and really reasonably priced. While I look forward to the new stuff also glad the old stuff will still be produced. Just have to see the paint jobs :) Marc |
