I have several copies of a handsome buck with a full rack of antlers from Ral Partha, probably available from Iron Wind these days.

I have a pack of much smaller deer, mixed bucks and does, from the Steve Barber Prehistoric Settlement line. I hear that line is being reissued in 28mm scale.

Foundry made a couple of different packs at one time… I haven't checked lately.

Foundry has a couple packs on their website.

Here are some really cheap plastic deer that I bought in an after X-mas sale. They are supposed to be reindeer. I think that I paid 50 cents

Gee MarianasGamer I wish I could find deer like that, I'm looking for some to populate the forest in my Medieval/Fantasy world. The fading in an animal's fur is just beyond my skill to paint. Any ideas on a manufacturer for those deer?

Get those plastic deer at Hobby Lobby, they carry them year round. They are in with the doll house furniture stuff. They are in a little bag of about 6 of them for a couple bucks! You have to paint them to make them look as good as Marianas Gamer has done.

I gave my German Mountain Troops some to tow sledges in winter.

I've bought several sets of (I think it's) 1/48 Miniature World Maker figures at Hobby Lobby, but I never saw a pack of deer before. I'm going to look for it.

I am currently sculpting a new set for our new 28mm prehistoric Settlement. They are red deer so would be very usable. stevebarbermodels.com
