The club got together on Thursday to playtest our scenario for Adepticon. I'm still prepping a bit, but it's a good preview of what's to come. If you like big 28mm scale Mecha, there's still plenty of space. Sign up day-of (Saturday @ 10AM) or just stop by and say hello!

Nice. Any details on the sources of the buildings?

Thanks Folks, glad you like it. My urban collection has been coming together for sometime and I think it may have finally finally reached critical mass.

Wachaza,
As for sourcing the buildings they've all been quite modified, greebled etc but the starting points…
-The blocky urban buildings are all based on Dust Tactics Warzone buildings and some of them have rounded roofs made from Dust Tactics quonset huts.
-The single story warehouses are from toy ERTL farm outbuildings
-The Elevated Train station is a converted Fisher Price GeoTrax piece
-The building under construction is a toy car parking garage
-The Cathedral is a couple of Pegasus gothic kits
-The Factory is a Walthers HO engine shed
-Dark Green Factory is a plastic crate
-There's also distillery, gravel tower, grain tower, Chemical tanks and hi-rise made from various toys and bits.

You can find construction details and more pics of them all fairly easy searching out club blog…
chicagoskirmish.blogspot.com
…but if you are curious about any in particular let me know and I'll post a link.

The Robotech Monster with the barrel bits from the Russian scifi tanks is a good call. Not so ridiculously over-gunned that way.

Thanks,
Good eye spotting the bits. I'm not sure why they were used for barrels on the tanks anyway when they look like rocket pods.
